Truths About The Ego
Jul 22, 2021
An Ego is a magnificent tool when it's a sidekick. We probably wouldn't have gotten out of the cave without it.
It works for you when it's a servant to you, not the master. However, when it becomes the dominant force in our lives and operates from the driver's seat, its primary interest is survival and wants. In this case, it is an EGO imbalance.
Another clue is when you start wanting everything right now to fill in the void of any lack of worthiness. It's a sure sign the Ego is in control and can cause breakdowns, mental health issues, and disease.
It's an awareness to keep in mind.
With that said, the disruption that causes imbalance and the pain from it is often a pathway back home.
Be gentle with yourself, and remember we are all in this thing called being a human together.
It's not always easy, however, so worth the ride to move back into divine essence where peace, joy, and love reside when you do the inner work.
Additionally, it's never about getting rid of the EGO. It would just come back stronger if you tried. Ask me how I know! :)
Acceptance of it is part of the acceptance of yourself. And in my experience, the more you move back into balance with your divine essence connecting to your higher self, it naturally balances out.
