Transitioning Gently from Surviving to Thriving
Aug 14, 2024In life, we encounter trials that serve as opportunities to unveil the strength of our inner resilience. There are moments when we endure, weathering the storms that come our way, and it feels like we are in survival, and others when we are basking in the light of our own flourishing, thriving in the fullness of our being.
During tough times, surviving meant holding on and finding the strength to keep moving forward when things went totally haywire.
On the other hand, thriving is about rising above challenges, transforming adversity into opportunity, and embracing self-discovery and growth.
It's about connecting with a deeper part of us and having faith. Ultimately, it's not just about external success but the inner journey of self-discovery, healing, transformation, and embracing the fullness of who we are.
Both can have their purpose based on your circumstances, yet at some point, it serves us to move into thriving again.
If you're familiar with my journey, the past two years have been tumultuous, sprinkled with moments of beauty. While it may seem like I had my act together, in reality, I felt like I was merely surviving through that chapter of my life. Coping with the heartbreak of losing my late husband and the array of secondary losses that accompanied it required unwavering commitment to reach the point where I stand today.
I'm reclaiming my strength and feeling more whole than ever. My creative energy has also returned in full force!
The period of slowing down was a necessary phase for me. It offered the opportunity for a reset that has brought me the clarity I now possess. The persistent inner calling to explore and expand upon my inner gifts has been whispering to me for some time, and I am prepared to embrace it wholeheartedly.
To me, success is found in valuing even the minor achievements, like waking up an hour earlier, upholding promises to myself and those around me, and being ready to help when opportunities present themselves. Maintaining discipline in organizing my time and setting clear boundaries is essential for me to amplify my effectiveness.
Even during times when I was simply trying to survive—guess what? I was actually succeeding, just in a different way. Those incremental actions are what propelled me to be where I am today—feeling rejuvenated and focused.
Each small step, taken with care, accumulates over time.
The gloominess is temporary!
The haze will dissipate eventually.
And the sunshine will always break through.

Hi, I’m Francine, a heart-centered coach, speaker and empowered empath.
I help sensitive-driven achievers break free from overthinking, and emotional overwhelm to find the confidence to lead effectively.
Your ability to feel deeply (your sensitivity) combined with your strong drive to achieve, makes you a rockstar in the field of your profession.
However, it also makes you more receptive to stress, emotional overwhelm, and overthinking. All of this often holds you back from unlocking your full potential in your career and frequently disrupts your relationships.
Does that sound familiar? If it does, I hear you. I also walked in those shoes.
The good news is that you’re not alone. And more importantly, you don’t have to live this way. It’s possible to enjoy success without stress.
It’s entirely possible to channel your ambition in healthy ways and use your sensitivity as the superpower it is.
Let me show you how.
